About

I started messing around with live sound in high school, when my band would play parties and record demos to 4 track in my friend’s garage. We had to record drums in the afternoon before his mom got home from work. After moving to L.A., I got more active in both playing, and mixing. The people I worked for and I got to do some really cool shows- Rage Against The Machine at a juice bar/ art gallery, White Zombie at a coffee house, Tool at their loft, the list goes on. In 1996 I got hired at Post Logic Studios in Hollywood (across the street from the Capitol Records building). We worked on a variety of projects from MAD TV to MTV shows, promos, commercials, film trailers, you name it. In early 2000s the industry shifted, and I was back to doing live sound. ProTools, FOH, Monitors, or a combination therein. I toured on and off with many different artists, and did local gigs to fill the gaps. Touring required me to take on different roles in management, logistics, accounting, transportation, merchandising, and many other duties as needed. With this Covid 19 pandemic going on, all of our shows are cancelled for some time to come. Who knows? So, here I am, reinventing myself one more time. To be continued….
